I’ve been blogging about fashion on The Aloha Babe for more than two years and well over 100 posts, so it’s important for me to be able to draw inspiration to keep my outfits on point. And by now, I know where to find it — each time I take a walk through Kakaako it feels like something new pops up whether it be a mural, a restaurant, or a brand new shop. The vibe is fresh, urban, and lively.
I shoot tons of my posts here, and you can often spot me ducking into a coffee shop to edit my photos for my blog on the spot thanks to the area’s free Wi-Fi. To think that the neighborhood is just getting started is inspiring in itself, and I’m just glad to have a front row seat.
