Hawaii City Plaza is a 26-story condominium currently in the pre-development phase, located on 733 Cedar Street and 710 and 730 Sheridan Street in the mid-town Ala Moana neighborhood. The high rise will be about 250 feet and will be a mixed-use building with a combination of commercial and residential units.
This project is being developed by Town House Land Ltd, a large-scale Chinese real estate development company. While Hawaii City Plaza is Town House Land Ltd.’s first project in Hawaii, the company has worked on similar major projects in China, Los Angeles and Miami. They are also the recipient of the “Star of 100 Largest Real Estate Enterprises” award in China. Currently, they’re handling the Hawaii Ocean Plaza which will be located close by on the same block. The architect of the project is FSC Architects, an award-winning firm based in Honolulu that also have projects spanning the globe.
Hawaii City Plaza will include residential units as well as three commercial retail stores and parking lots on the ground floor. Located close by Walmart and Ala Moana Shopping Center, Hawaii City Plaza boasts of a prime location in the island of Oahu. This neighborhood includes plenty of shops, restaurants, businesses, parks and schools.
Hawaii City Plaza is slated to complete construction in October 2021.
Sales on units began in June of this year. There are 163 residentials units with 30 affordable rental units. There are no affordable ownership opportunities. There will be one and two-bedroom units, with nine units per floor.
A one-bedroom unit will range from having 600 to 650-square feet of interior space and 55 to 85-square feet of lanai space, starting at $656,000. A two-bedroom unit will about 800 to 990-square feet of interior space and 55 to 90-square feet of lanai space, starting at $1,008,000. Maintenance fees are estimated to start at $0.68 per square feet.

There’s plenty to do in the Ala Moana neighborhood. If you’re in the mood for a swim, surf or standup paddleboard sesh, you can walk to Ala Moana Beach Park within 15 minutes.
